MemCull needs access to your photo library to display and organize photos. If the permission is not fully granted, you may see errors.
Go to system settings, find MemCull, and enable Photos & Videos / Media access permission.
If you see permission modes, make sure to select All Photos.
Try restarting the app or your device.

System confirmation dialog when deleting photos

Android imposes strict restrictions on deletion operations to protect your data. This is system-level behavior that MemCull cannot fully bypass.
Prefer using the Recycle Bin feature, then empty it in bulk after organizing.
If your device supports it, grant a higher-level file management permission.

Randomness of photo display

MemCull uses segmented random sampling to distribute photos as evenly as possible across your timeline. If it feels skewed toward recent photos, it's likely because you have more photos from that period.

Location shows "Unknown"

This usually means the photo itself lacks GPS data (EXIF), or the reverse geocoding service is not configured correctly. Please check your network connection and API Key settings.
